Only another example of nuance within the Obama Administration. Or wait, is it incompetence? On the other hand, I guess it could be flat-out lying. Who knows anymore? There’s been plenty of each to go around.

Barack Obama, who has for months now been engaged in ramming unworkable health-care, illegal corporate regulations, an immoral (is that still a word?) social agenda, and a bottomless stock market down our throats is now merely asking that we trust him with taking over non-bank financial companies. I think I’d go with Ronald Reagan’s wisdom when dealing with the Soviets. Remember his infamous ‘trust but verify’ quip? We showed Obama that, as a nation, we trust him by voting him into office. How about we verify what Obama has already done to our country before we just let him lead it to further destruction.
Finally, regarding AIG, we get to hear from a voice from someone on the inside who isn’t afraid to stand up for what he believes. Very refreshing is this op-ed/resignation letter to the chief of AIG. Here’s a morsel:
“None of us should be cheated of our payments any more than a plumber should be cheated after he has fixed the pipes but a careless electrician causes a fire that burns down the house.”
For more truth than the entire press and the Feds combined this piece is definitely worth a read. (h/t: HotAir)
